The Foundation led the effort to rescind SNL’s invitation to Donald Trump to host the late night comedy show. We also put public pressure on SNL Executive Producer Lorne Michaels’ on the national stage about the failure of SNL to ever hire a Latina cast member and to only hire two Latino male cast members over a 40-year period – which eventually led to the hiring of Melissa Villaseñor.
